Matt Robinson to Replace Retiring Superintendent
For the first time in 13 years, the Cameron R-I School Board was searching for a new superintendent this fall.  Dr. Ronald White will retire this year after 40 years in education and 13 years with Cameron.

As many schools in the state do in the same situation, the board hired a consulting firm to help with the process.  With over 30 applicants, the competition was fierce.  Ultimately the board narrowed the applicants to 6 and Mr. Matt Robinson was the board's selection in a unanimous vote.  Mr. Robinson is currently pursuing his doctorate and already has an undergrad degree in science from Northwest Missouri State and a master's degree from the University of Central Missouri.

Mr. Robinson, his wife, and three children will move to the area this summer at some point and he will take the reigns officially July 1, 2011.
