Bad things can happen to good people, and in this case, a good business. Luckily, things turned around for Glenn's Radiator and Wrecker Service.

On February 7th, Glenn's Radiator and Wrecker Service was broken into. At around 7:30-8:00am, two men had come into the business with one thing in mind. They wanted the personal gun collection that was stored in the office of Glenn's Radiator and Wrecker Service.  To the disbelief of the criminals, the case was being cleaned so it wasn't in the store. The two guys settled for a two-by-two-and-a-half feet black metal safe.

They didn't end up finding much use in the safe. After incinerating the contents of it, they dumped it on the side of a road and went on home. Little did they know, they had only a little time before the police would show up at their house. Owners Pat Watkins and Amber Baker had brought the security tape to the police department so the guys were caught.

Amber Baker said, "We had originally called the Caldwell County. We knew who it was after seeing the video tapes. In the report, they [the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department] had stated that they dumped it [the safe] on 326th. We had been looking for it. I instantly ran an ad in the newspaper. Cameron Newspaper had put an article on the internet so people had saw we had been broken into and our safe was stolen".

Thanks to the Newspaper's article on the internet, the safe was found and returned...all thanks to two Cameron High School students.

Juniors Bobby Pittsenbarger and Elijah Hall were those two guys that helped Glenn's Radiator and Wrecker Service with getting their stolen safe back.

Bobby said, "Elijah Hall and I were driving down the road to get paint for his truck and came back and saw it [the safe] on the side of the road. We picked it up and put it in the back of his truck."

Bobby took the safe to his house the same day. There wasn't much in the safe. According to Bobby, it mostly consisted of burnt papers that didn't look like the had much meaning.

"It mainly contained paperwork for our house. It was mainly personal items: birth certificates, titles for every vehicle we own, a check book on the estate. It also had change in the bottom of it but there was no other money," said Amber.

Well on after the safe was taken home, Bobby's mom had seen the article on how Glenn's had been broken into from the Cameron Newspaper's website. She told Bobby about how they had found the stolen safe. Bobby then took the safe to the police department and claimed the 50 dollar reward offered for its return. He split the reward with Elijah.

Amber was relieved to get the safe back, yet she devastated. Everything in the safe had been burnt so everything in it was destroyed. She has to now find a way to get all the titles back for the cars that were lost, and everything else. It's going to take a while to get everything back in order.

Amber had talked to Bobby after he returned her safe. He told her how he was actually going to turn the safe into a smoker. They both laughed at the thought, and Amber even said after everything was sorted out he could have the safe to do what he wanted with it, as long as she would get some food cooked from the smoker he would build. As for the case, it is still under investigation. One man, Steven Taylor, is currently in the Caldwell Detention Center in Kingston.

Hopefully this case will be able to come to an end soon with the arrest of the other man involved in this crime and Glenn's Radiator and Wrecker Service finding a way to rebuild from their lost possessions. Last but not least, hopefully this case will end with Bobby, Elijah, and the owners of Glenn's Radiator and Wrecker Service barbecuing on the newly made smoker from the lost yet found safe.
