No Need to Go to College Wednesday, February 24, 2010 By Meghan Mulcahy - Advertising England is a very lucky country. They are having a much easier time in this cold weather than we are. The Holiday Inns of England have professional bed warmers. That's right...bed warmers. A select few of the men and women over in England get the chance to roll up in fleece blanket and warm up the bed of any customer before the customer lays down to rest. It is not easy to do this job.  Everyone who looks into this field of work has to first take a shower before lying down in each bed. They will wear a shower cap to keep their hair from touching the bed, and just for safety precautions each bed warmer is fully clothed. I would not have filled out all those college and scholarship applications if I would have known about this dream career earlier in the school year. My life would have so much easier.  This is my dream job. I would get the chance to sleep all day long, and by doing so I will be helping society be more comfortable at night. People will love me! I will be like a celebrity or a super hero. Everyone everywhere will be calling my name saying, "Come Super Meghan, only you can save me from a cold bed." I can see it now. My costume will be a red fleece blanket and a blue shower cap. I will share the glory with other people. I will start a whole group. We will be called "The League of Justice...of the Bed Warmers." This career is perfect for anyone. It is really great for any aspiring creep. They will get the chance to lie in anyone's bed and look at all the contents of the costumer's room. They will no longer have the average stereotype of being dirty and covered in filth. They will be sparkling clean and look rather dashing, especially in their super cool super hero outfit. Everyone will want them around. We will have a whole facebook page and we will have more fans than Brangaliana. We will become the superheroes of the world. The world is completely corrupted with evil cold weather. Someone has to stop it. The League of Justice...of Professional Bed Warmers are here to save the world their from frigid nightmares. It won't be easy having to save everyone at the same time, but we will do our best to warm the beds of all. Don't worry, you will no longer have to sleep in the cold, but if you ever shiver in the night you know who to call: bed warmers.
