As this school year comes to an end, seniors await graduation day at CHS. There are 117 seniors in the graduating class this year at CHS. $0$0Many seniors can't wait to get out in the real world and go to college to pursue careers. Senior Devin Fox said, "I plan to go to college to be a Registered Nurse. I'll probably work as aR.N. for a couple of years to get money to go back to school and get a masters degree in Midwifery [delivering babies]." $0$0Many seniors have already chosen where they are going and what they are doing after college. Senior Ben Duncan said, "I plan to go to BYU in Idaho for my general education. Then I plan to transfer to medical school to become a doctor and then start my career and start a family."$0$0A lot of seniors have a general idea of what field they want to go into, but not specifically what they want to do in that field. Senior Samantha Manning said, "I really don't know what I want to do yet, but I want to go into the science field because I love all of my science classes."$0$0Several seniors are excited to get away from all of the drama high school brings. Some can't wait to get on with their lives, get a career, start a family, and support themselves. Some seniors are going to miss the teachers they've come to know and love. Devin said, "I am going to miss Mr. von Glahn the most because I never have a bad day in his class."   $0$0Leaving high school to enter the real world is sometimes terrifying to seniors. Some seniors begin to frantically search for a college to go to, whereas others have had these plans for months. They try to find scholarships to colleges, fill out last minute applicationsand try to find jobs close to the college. $0$0Leaving your friends behind when you go to college is also something which saddens some seniors. Samantha said, "I really don't want to leave my friends behind, but I can't wait to get out of high school. So it is kind of a mixed emotions thing. I'm really going to miss them a lot."    $0$0A bit of advice: Don't shut yourself off from everyone at college. Make some new friends. Try something new and join a club or several, but make sure you have enough time for the clubs AND your work.$0$0Good luck to all of the seniors!
