Freshman Focus

Freshman Blake Mongold lives in New Creek with his mom, dad, and sister. Blake also has one dog and four cats sharing his house.

Blake is not currently participating in any club at KHS but he does wrestle for Keyser and it is one of his favorite things to do. Blake also likes to play football in his free time. He kills more time by playing his Playstation 2, although he doesn’t have a favorite game.

Although he is new to the high school scene, Blake thinks it is fun so far. His favorite class is social studies with Mr. Wilson because Mr. Wilson is so funny sometimes.

Senior Spotlight

Heather Rodeheaver lives in Keyser with her mom, stepdad, and little brother. Heather also has three dogs.

Heather takes part in a few clubs here at KHS. She is in the Science Club and Journalism Club. “I’m also going to be in AFS if they ever get it started,” she said.

Although working is not her favorite thing to do, it has to be done. For fun, however, she enjoys shopping and going to the movies.

Among her other favorites are her Sociology and Parent and Child class because they’re fun. The teacher she likes the most is Mr. Lawrence.
