Who: Born and raised in the United States of America, people might be familiar with

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas from the Disney Channel. They have always been fascinated by the art of music. The band released their first album in 2005, and it was not a big hit. Surprisingly enough their second album skyrocketed to number five on the Billboard Hot 200 list, with a week of their album being released! They had two hot singles in less than a month. One was ‘S.O.S.’ and the other was ‘Hold On’. The tour for the album was completely sold out in less than a week.

What: Their most recent album released is titled “A Little Bit Longer.” The title of the album has to do with Nick and his diabetes. The song ‘A Little Bit Longer’ expresses how Nick feels when he’s in a bad mood and writing songs helps him cope with his illness. “Waitin’ on a cure but none of them are sure a little bit longer and I’ll be fine” is one of the lines that talks about Nicks’ story. It helps him cope by writing music because it helps him express the way he feels, and in a way people can relate to that. Even if they don’t have diabetes. Another song that is featured in the CD is ‘Hello Goodbye’ which comes out in the target commercial. This was first sung by The Beetles. I think they did a swell job on it singing it again!

Sound: I would describe their music to be very unique. It makes me want to listen to them forever! Their songs are pretty much about normal high school drama and their love lives. Most teens should be able to relate to most of their songs. Their songs are written by them most of the time. I find that to be pretty amazing. A specific song that wasn’t written by them was the ‘Hello Goodbye’ song, which I mentioned earlier, was written by The Beetles.

Worth the riches: I strongly believe that this C.D. is totally

worth buying. I think that their

music will win over most girls. I believe the album will open uppeoples’ minds about diabetes and what the illness is exactly. Nick

serves as an inspiration because he has proven that although he has an illness, he is still able to do what he loves. I also suggest buying the CD with the DVD in it which features some music videos such as ‘S.O.S.’ and also features a clip from a live concert.
