A look into the MAGICAL world of horoscopes

Admit It.

You’ve done it before.

You might even do it everyday.

Don’t feel bad about it though, millions of people check their horoscopes! Horoscopes have been popular for thousands of years and in many cases play integral roles in everyday life. Some base their entire existence on a few words of daily advice!

BUT WHY?

We dug a little deeper to find out.

Turns out, astrology is one the most ancient philosophies still in existence today. It’s estimated to be up to THREE THOUSAND years old but recent study of more esoteric beliefs place it back farther than the clouded past of human history. Folks have been using the stars to predict the fate of countries, the outcome of wars, the stock market…you name it! Humans have always been dependent on the sky. For instance, nomadic tribes followed the night skies to move from one location to another. Greek politicians consulted the stars for answers to their most difficult questions and just recently I myself made a crucial dump or deal with it decision based off the advice of my astrological sign. Good decision? You betcha’!

But dead people and myself aren’t the only ones who reaped the benefits of the sky’s predicting power. Millions of people today STILL consult the stars!

“I actually just looked at my horoscope today,” Drew Swan explained. “It says I’m going to die soon. I don’t know what the means really. I think it means I’m going to do really well on my Western Civilization test. Yes, I think that is exactly what it means.”

“CLEARLY, the predicting powers of horoscopes are endless,” Brady Perrigo told us. “I try and get my horoscope sent to me daily, even on the hour if they have it. You can never be too careful.”

Some don’t agree though.

“I think horoscopes are a big load of crap,” senior Josh Dirkse explained. “They are all so generalized that you could do ANYTHING and have it fall in the realm of that little paragraph they give you. They are just propaganda. A big load of crap.”

Ah, so very eloquently put Mr. Josh. Dirkse is obviously very skeptical about the magical powers of the sky.

The truth of the matter is, Astrology is endless. And whether or not you believe in it, it will continue to be ever present in society. SO GET USED TO IT.
