During the month of December, the Leo’s Club went to the middle school classes to spread to the holiday spirit. Students got to get holiday tattoos, decorated cookies, made snowflake ornaments, and much more. Jen Barnoski, Oliver Oswald, Emily Karszes, Kyle Hartman, Sage Daugherty, Alex Turner, Lion Jim, Lion Bill, William Hughes-(Bill’s grandson), Shawnee Brown, and Katie Zufelt were the ones who helped out with the project.

At the holiday tattoo area, the little children got to choose which one the wanted to put on for the day. Jen Barnoski and Oliver Oswald had been running the table for the tattoos. Many students enjoyed getting a holiday tattoo on a part of their body that afternoon. Emily Karszes, Kyle Hartman, Sage Daugherty, and Alex Turner ran the cookie station for the middle schoolers to decorate the three packages of cookies. Making snowflake ornaments/Christmas stick ornaments was taught by Lion Jim, who had the skills to make the ornaments. Lion Bill and William Hughes had the little kids make holiday cards. There was enough for everyone in the class to make at least one. Dressing up little snowman stickers were left for Shawnee Brown and Katie Zufelt to do with the children. They got to decorate and have fun getting the little snowman stickers ready for the holiday and the cold.

The eleven people who helped the middle schoolers get some holiday spirit for the December month, reached their goal. The children had a fun time and so did the Leo
