Two brand new versions of apple’s well-known iPod for the desiring eye of the public, the iPod Photo and the iPod special edition.
The first of the two the new additions to Apples stockpile is the iPod Photo. Apple’s iPod Photo is different in a couple ways, but the main difference is the new color screen.
This iPod lets you store in mass, and when I say mass I mean up to 25,000 pictures. 25,000 pictures seem to be a lot of pictures, but to prove its point Apple states that it is around 5,000 square feet of wall space. The iPod Photo features about 65,000 colors, which according to Apple this means a very clear and easy to read picture. With it’s new S-video ports it can connect to your T.V. and present your very own photography show. The 40-gigabyte version of this is $499 and the 60-gigabyte version is $599
Other great add-ons to this brand of iPod are the additional attributes that are included. One is the additional battery life; it is the longest lasting out of all of the types of iPods and has a total of 15 hours of life. The final new aspect of the iPod is the fact that you can buy it with an enlarged hard drive, which means a lot more music 5,000 more songs, then the previous iPods.
The second new iPod is the iPod U2 special edition. The U2 special edition is no different from the regular iPod in technical specs. The different feature of it is its new case it now has a black front with a red spinning wheel and a silver back with the autographs of U2, the band. The reason for the raise in the price of this iPod compared to the rest is the $50 gift certificate to iTunes towards all of U2’s albums. The u2 special edition is $249, and if you can subtract you can tell that the $50 gift certificate is where the price raises compared to the normal iPod.
