The year is 2010 and it’s the 21st Century, the present is today but
the future is now. Many things within this world is changing and
developing. People wouldn’t actually notice the different of today’s
environment. There are still trees, wild animals, and buildings from
long ago. There is progress in every society all over the world. Laws
have changed, the economy has changed, and the amount of people living
in America has increased with different nationalities. When people wait
for the future, it becomes the present as time goes by. Many great
intellectuals come up with so many discoveries that it makes an impact
within the society. If someone found a cure for all viruses wouldn’t
that be a miracle? That would be a part of history and people would
look back into that.
Several things have developed with
technology, for instance cell phones are more advanced. There are more
features/applications being added. Back in the 90’s phones didn’t have
a screen. Now that it’s the 21st Century all cell phones and home
phones have screens so you’ll know who’s calling you. The phones now
and back then are so much different. You don’t really see anybody
carrying around a cell phone with an antenna because cell phone
manufacturers decided to go forward and excel in making phones that is
different and more advanced. Things change, many people grow over
certain things with phones, computers, and all that high tech gadgets.
People are asking for what is the next best thing.
Most people
expect that since it’s the year of 2010 every surrounding of yours is
supposed to change and become different. There are houses that are
being built that’s even bigger and a lot more contemporary. Many
architects want to create a building that’s not the same as other ones
that’s already constructed. They prefer a different type of building
and adding things to make it look more unique. With different shapes
and sizes for buildings these architects visualize from their minds
they decide on how they want a building to look like.
Cars
have been evolving and changing quickly. Back then cars were wide, big,
and just the right size but now things have changed. Cars today are
much smaller yet roomy. The exterior design of a small car may fool you
into thinking that it really is small but it isn’t. It’s the illusion
of it and inside a small car today is actually roomy. Who would have
guessed? The cars today have better features and the engines are more
efficient. There are hybrid cars which are intended to reduce exhaust
emissions while maintaining a performance that has become accepted as
normal. A hybrid car works by combining two smaller engines to produce
the power of a larger engine which is gas engine and electric engine.
Hybrid cars are efficient since you don’t really have to waste on gas.
Charging a hybrid car is like charging a cell phone. There has become
versatility in how cars are being made. A customer wants a certain car
that fits their personality and they don’t want to have the same car as
others.
What do people wear nowadays? There was the 70s, the
80s, and the 90s now what do we call this era? It’s a mixture of what
people wear in this present time. Back then people thought when the
year 2000 hits the fashion trend would be futuristic like wearing
silver or gold. But that certainly did not start out as people would
have assumed. The fashion trends come and go and everyone wears
whatever they want to wear. It’s either you’re a follower of a trend or
you withstand from it.
Just all in all many things in the
society is changing and there are so many things that are yet to come.
Not every outcome of the future is known or expected before it even
comes.
