This holiday season it’s expected for the malls and stores to flood with seasonal shoppers for great amounts of gifts, but what’s on everyone’s wish list for this year’s holiday season?

The one thing that everyone always wants is movies. The hot ones this year are Pirates of the Caribbean 3, the Bourne Ultimatum, Superbad, Ocean’s Thirteen, Transformers, and Live Free or Die Hard. The basic theme for this year’s wanted movies seems to be action. These DVDs are definitely going to be a big seller this holiday.

One of the electronic devices that have everyone talking is the new iPod Nano. The prices, even though they are quite expensive, have never phased shoppers. They range from 80 dollars to 350 dollars. The iPod has always been a big sale, and with the new release of an updated version, it’s sure to be a popular gift this season as well.

The biggest gifts for this season, though, will revolve around gaming systems. A big seller will be the Xbox 360 and the hot new release of Halo 3. This game is highly proclaimed as the “best game ever” by numerous gaming magazines including Game Informer. Halo 3 also has a competitor in Call of Duty 4. Both game’s graphics are a big hit with the public.

These games may be great, but it seems the Nintendo Wii wins the prize for hottest gift this year. Almost every store is sold out or doesn’t receive new shipments for a while. Along with this system comes the new game Guitar Hero 3. This game has all buyers becoming hard rockers, playing metal, punk, funk, and hard rock tunes in game form. The Wii and Guitar Hero are the biggest names on everyone's lists.

There are many hot presents this year and there seems to be a lot of the same things on everyone’s lists. What will you be buying this holiday season?
