After much deliberation and speculation, Payton Manning has chosen a new NFL home in Denver.

Hall of Famer John Elway clenched the deal for Manning, who wanted to have full control over his new offense, and the Bronco’s top executive gave him the green light.  Elway saw an opportunity to rid his team of Tebow mania, and he seized it with the former Colt’s quarterback.  According to Michael Silver, writing for Yahoo Sports, “To say the reaction at the Broncos’ Dove Valley training facility was one of jubilation would be an understatement.”

The future remains uncertain for Tim Tebow, who led the Broncos into the second round of playoffs last year.
