Not everyone is built the same. Some people are blessed with
a tall skinny figure and some not so much. Some people base their whole lives
on a perfect body image, but imperfection in other’s eyes is beauty.
There are twelve different shapes
of a woman’s body: the apple, the hour glass, the skittle, the vase, the
cornet, the lollipop, the column, the bell, the goblet, the cello, the pear,
and the brick. Models are usually 5’7 or taller, but sometimes even 5’7 is too
short. The average model’s dress size in between 4 and 6. A plus size model is
in between 12 and 14. Some fashion shows have banned models with a body mass of
size zero. For instance, Madrid’s fashion show held in London in 2006.
Today
women’s bodies sell everything from food to cars. Actress and models faint on
sets because of the lack of food they eat. Most women say that if they could
just lose a few extra pounds everything would great such as their career, their
sex life, their marriage, and loving children. Women that are insecure about
their bodies are more likely to buy beauty products, new clothes, and diet
aids. The most common but un-healthy way women try to lose weight is by
fasting, skipping meals, excessive exercise, laxative abuse, and self-induced
vomiting.
A healthy diet plan for models to
follow is - Breakfast: 1 boiled egg, a bowl of Cheerios w/ skim milk, 1 slice
wheat toast, and black coffee. Lunch: a Subway club sand with a Diet Coke.
Snack: granola bar. Dinner: grilled chicken, steamed vegetables. Snack: a bowl of chopped watermelon. Total
number of calories 1307. It all depends on your weight and how many calories
you should eat a day to maintain a healthy body mass.
People are always going to judge
you, but the thing is no one is perfect. The best thing to do is to accept your
flaws that way no one can ever use them against you.
