New California Law Passed to have authority to punish Cyber bullying
A new law giving schools the authority to punish cyber bullying was passed yesterday, April 17, 2012. The government passed this law, with hopes of a better community and world. Cyber bullying is a problem worldwide, and the only way to prevent more suicides is to pass this new law.
Cyber bullying is happening more often now, because our generation is more fond of electronics and social networks. One of the most famous website for cyber bullying is Facebook, because of how easy it is. People make up fake profiles and send rude/hurtful messages to people they might not particularly like. When someone is bullying someone else they don’t know how that could affect someone.
It only takes a few words to push someone over the edge. Children are committing suicide because they are getting bullied. It may only seem like a few harmless words, but the affects last a lifetime. The government are finally taking a stand, and trying to prevent deaths of innocent children.
