Amy Jung had just adopted Pudding, an orange and white cat, from an adoption center in Wisconsin. The cat had somehow discovered that her owner was having a seizure in her sleep. The Huffington Post had stated that “The fast-acting feline sat on Jung's chest in an attempt to wake her and, when that didn't work, he nudged and nipped her face until she briefly returned to consciousness” after that event Amy had tried to call her son for help and when that didn’t happen the cat Pudding went into Amy’s son room and awakened him so that he would hear and help his mother. Jung says that she would not have survived if pudding had decided not to intervene. The cat has been a hero her owner and now the cat is undergoing training to be a therapy animal after being registered as such from the event. Pudding know stays with Amy sitting on her feet then creating a strong meow to let her owner, Amy, know that her blood sugar is low and will keep doing it until Amy takes an action to fix the problem. This event is almost like another corresponding news story that shows a cat giving a warning to his adopted family about a fire that had started in the basement of a small four story apartment building which had caused a evacuation before the fire had a chance to grow and cause damage to the people inside the building. This event had started seven months ago and had been a popular news cast. Pudding is now highly praised as some reports are saying that cats are now having an increase in adoption for patients with either high blood pressure or patients that have low blood sugar and they are having their new cat trained to detect when they need help. People have discovered that the cat, Pudding had been trained to do this by its previous owner before it went to the shelter
