The final two weeks of the semester are here, and it is time to buckle down and get to work. This year, unlike in years past, students will take their final exams before Christmas break. The district decided this year that it would be in the best interest for the students if they didn't have a two week break before their exams.
"With finals almost here it's time to get serious, but I'm just happy that it'll all be over soon." said Adam Burgess.
This week is what is generally known as the review week for Turner students. However, in some classes, teachers are using this week to finish up their units because their semester is usually two weeks longer. "AP Statistics has a test this Thursday and our exam review starts Friday; there is no rest for the AP students," said Beau Carter, a student upset with the shortened first semester.
