It’s time for “Power Hour!” says Derek Dewitt, The Bel Air Boys and Girls club branch director. What is power hour you may ask? It’s the key clubs newest project serving the community.
The Bel Air Boys and Girls Club power hour is a daily two hour window after school where Patterson Mill High School Key Club students tutor with elementary students. “The Boys and Girls club are very happy to be involved with Kiwanis and the Patterson Mill Key club and hope to strengthen our partnership in the future,” Says Derek.
In exchange for the tutoring, the Boys and Girls club the Key Club was able to open u their own Teen Room to hang out in whenever they please.
If you would like to get involved with Key club tutoring at the Boys and Girls club, make sure to see Mrs. Greenwood, Mr. Odell, or any other key club officer.
