Over the weekend, Ranchview had two atheletes represent the Wolf Pack at the 4A TISCA Swimming and Diving Championship in Frisco.
In this competition, Sophomore Shelby Santoscoy posted a personal best time in the 100 Freestyle. She also qualified in the 100 Butterfly, but was disqualified in the event.
The Senior girls’ team captain, Starlene Lara, kept her record-breaking streak rolling, dropping down to a 1:18 in the 100 Breaststroke. She has already knocked off three seconds on the mark she set last year. Due to her performances this week, Starlene Lara was named the team’s 11th “Athelete of the Week”.
Next up: The Wolves host Cedar Hill, Desoto, WT White and Waxahachie at the Standridge Stadium Natatorium on Tuesday December 15th at 5pm.
