Ghosts: real or fake? Fact or fiction? Those are questions that we’re always curious about, but we never are able to truly know until we find out ourselves. In the past years, many television shows have sprung up about ghosts and, specifically, hunting them. A couple of shows that I’ve been into lately are Ghost Hunters and more importantly, Ghost Adventures. I encourage you to watch these shows because they provide an excellent form of amusement, and these shows also showcase a lot of history around the world regarding deaths and our country’s past. Whether the ghosts are real or the ghosts are fake, the existence and idea of ghosts will always be one of the most interesting and intriguing topics in the world.
Wonderful picture motions that create wonderful stories, movies are some of the best types of entertainment around. They create worlds, stories, and people who we learn to love, laugh, or cry with. Recently, I’ve been watching many interesting movies; such as, The Number 23, a movie starring Jim Carey about a man who is obsessed with the number 23 which is associated with the devil. Another great movie that I’ve watched is The Lion King; my first time watching it I might add! It was a fantastic movie that made me laugh, cry, and fall in love. The use of animal characters was an added bonus, since I love animals. Well, either way, with summer coming up and many movie premieres, be sure to hit the theaters sometime!
“You like school!? What!?” Yeah, I know. Crazy, right? I do love school; well, at least I like some aspects of it. For example, Onalaska High School boys basketball won the Division 2 State Basketball Tournament! What’s not to be proud of? It’s an amazing accomplishment, and I’m surprised by the overwhelming school spirit. Also, since the end of school is nearing, many events are taking place. Mr. Onalaska took place on Thursday, March 22; a hilarious show where guys made fun of serious female competitions. End-of-the-year fieldtrips for clubs are happening soon; for now, I believe there are definite trips planned for UJIMA, the Art Club, Spanish Club, and more!
So if you believe in the paranormal, or you just love movies or even if you just love school, remember to watch for ghosts, watch for movies, and watch for school events! Ghost shows, movies, and school are the things I’m lovin’, and I think you should be lovin’ them, too!
