Ah,
it's time once again where you hear the nonstop tunes of Christmas and the
lights shine off of houses all around.
However, not everyone likes the holidays.. I am one of these people, and in this edition of Freddy
Fussbudget, I will tell you about the things about Christmas that annoy
me. It's not that I am a Scrooge,
it's just a few small things that get under my skin.
I
guess to start off with, the nonstop blowing up of commercial ads that are
coming from the stores that want to sell their products with catchy jingles and
bright colors. At first the ads
are enjoyable, and even entertaining, but after so long of watching these
commercials appear on television, they become annoying and you begin to
memorize the commercials. After a
while, it gets stuck in your head and becomes hard to get rid of. I only wish for more variety in the commercials,
and maybe not have the same commercial play every five minutes. It makes the season more of a “buy
everything you want” time and constantly be bombarded with deal after deal.
Another
thing that annoys me is the snow that should be coming this time of the
year. If it were a gentle
sprinkling, then it would not be a problem, but if it were a giant dropping,
that is where the problem starts.
It is a problem because of the shoveling that takes a long time to clear
off of the driveway. Not that the
snow is necessarily a bad thing, but it gets tiresome after a while. That’s why
I feel that snow should only fall for a certain time, shorter then normal, and
then it can go away.
The
last thing is the cold weather. I
hate the feeling of when I leave a warm building and feel the slap of the cold
hit my face and go through a cold shock.
I hate it when it becomes much too cold, like below zero, and there is
work that has to be done outside.
That is the worst, and I hate it to death.
Now
these things are just the main things on my list of complaints, but there are
others that will get under my skin.
However, those will be for another time. For now, enjoy yourself and have a Happy Holiday.
