This week I bought only one comic worthy of talking about, Amazing Spider-Man #674. This issue is the start of the next arc, right after the event Spider-Island. Teasers have been hinting at the Vulture as the next villain, and this issue confirms it alone with the covers. But the Vulture is not alone; he is accompanied by his own ‘Vulture Corps’ that he has created by currently unknown means. The issue also discusses the breakup of Peter Parker and Carlie Cooper, and how they have decided to only talk to each other as part of cases. This issue was a very good issue, as it explores the aftermaths of Spider-Island but also gets into the next plot quickly. The only bad thing is that it only shows a bit of the breakup of Carlie and Parker, where it could have been a major part of the plot.
