     The latest installment of my Web's Top Comics series features "Hark, a Vagrant!," an excellent comic of history and lit.
     I suppose one downside that could be said of this comic is that it requires some sort of prior knowledge about the subject matter, as the punchline usually has something to do with some detail. However, I think this is also one of this comics greatest strengths.
     Rarely do I see a comic like this one, based completely on historical and literary aspects. For a somewhat specialized audience, this is a truly timeless comic. It is very prone to stereotyping, and of course, some concepts are still widely recognized today:


     One of the downsides may be the art; it's not horrid, but it's whimsical and not as high quality as many others. But this comic isn't read for its art, but rather it's irony.
