On May 25th, the Union Endicott High School put something on to show what happens before, during, and after a drunk driving car accident.  According to the Attorney General where he considers it to be premeditated murder because you choose to drink and then drive and thought about it.

Let’s set the scene for this now. It was one of the first sunny days in may, rather warm. But being in the fifth most depressing place in the nation ( mostly due to weather ) you expect the clouds to roll in soon enough.

The Golden hour begins once all the students are settled in. It is the most crucial hour after an accident.  The clock slowly ticks as the unusual warm weather sets in to stay.  Students so quick you could hear a pin drop. Woosh an ambulance arrives. Then another and another to a total of eight.

The cops are there interviewing the driving while paramedics and emergency response teams act calm and responsive towards the eight injuried. One casualty already.

The clock continues to tick, students on the edge of thier seats watching in awe as the victims scream in pain. The sister of the dead driver who was thrown from his car “ wheres my bother, wheres my bother?"

the intense situaction continues and then they leader phones in for a helicopter from Guthrie Air. It Comes and lands. A victim brought over to the chopper and then it takes off.

Everything calms down and the coroner is there examining the body before it is taken away in the herse for the funeral home.

The hour is over and the principal is now talking to the student body. After the students proceed to the gym for a guest speaker.

Little do they know that tomorrow they will be seeing red.

School comes the next day and every single student and teacher is sunburned. You walk down the hall and that’s all you see on every kid. The reason for this is because the student body was not used to the prolonged exposure to the sun and their cells couldn't handle it all and got burned.

After that the next couple days the students begin to heal. he aloe in the Union Endicott school system was put to good use.
