This season, I have been hit hard with allergies. But usually I'm not bothered by them. According to a CBS News report on May 9, I'm not the only one suffering this year.

The greenish yellow film covering everything is bothering ears, noses, throats, eyes. Everything!

“People often think that it’s the visible pollen they can see on their cars, but most of the pollen that causes true allergic symptoms are invible pollen. So it can be all over your hair and you don’t realize it and all over your body and you don’t realize it,” Dr. Subhandra Siegel of Westchester Medical Center said.

Doctors advise lots of washing - including your body, hair, and pets even when they seem clean. Also, to help prevent worsening symptoms, doctors say to take your allergy medication about an hour before leaving the house.

On naturehills.com, it is said that because of the bitter cold winter's we've been having cause the tree's to bloom a little differently. Instead of blooming at their own pace, they seem to be blooming all at once which is why the pollen count has been so high.

I personally have added allergy medication to my morning ritual, which seems a little over kill, but its necessary. I may be fine in the morning but once noon comes around is when I begin to feel the pressure under my eyes and in my temples and the scratchy throat.

On weather.com it calls for moderate tree pollen levels until Thursday, where high  temperatures and a 0% chance of precipitation bring heavy levels of pollen from such trees as oak, pine, and birch.
