Burger King Drops F-bomb
Have you ever been into a restaurant and had a rude waiter or have they ever forgotten your order? If so, how did you feel? Well Francisco Perez felt very offended and even humiliated when he received a receipt from Burger King that said “f***-you” on it. It said it not once, but twice, and in place of "thank you." When he showed the person at the widow they just laughed and gave it back to him. I think that person was very rude to not even say a quick sorry, but to laugh!?
So, what about us? Is this supposed to offend us too or is this just our world’s way to try and get our attention? Is this really worth it? Do we really care? Does this show something about modern society, is our world becoming a place full of hate and evil? Did some stupid teenager do it just to make someone mad?
Who cares?... Does anyone really think this is that interesting? I think this is more of a personal issue. Can't he just deal with it on his own; does he really need to get it out to all of us? OK, but seriously, who wants to hear about some random guy and his issues with Burger King. I don’t, but I’m just doing an article on it for the fun of it. If you really don’t care, then I would assume that you wouldn’t be reading this.
Does this show or tell anything about our world? I think that it absolutely does. First off, I think it tells a lot about modern day teens and how stupid and impulsive they can be. If they did do that, then they are quite immature. But maybe it wasn’t a teen, maybe it was a rude, disrespectful adult who wants to make someone mad just for the fun of it.
Another thing that could have happened, not likely but possible, is that this random guy could have changed the receipt just to get attention. He could be some dirt- bag dude who just wanted to be on the news and get some people fired. I kind of doubt that though.
Heres a question for you, how does this make you feel? Does it make you not want to go back to Burger King? Does this not mean anything to you? Do you never go there any way? I think that it’s his problem and it probably won’t happen again. If I really liked their food, I might try a different Burger King if I actually ate there, but I would never go back to the same one.
Here’s another thing to think about. How will this affect other fast food places in the area? This could cause other businesses to be a lot more popular. If people stop going to Burger King, then other places might get so popular that Burger King might go out of business just because of one stupid incident. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
