Many students went on this nature-filled adventure and had an amazing time. It was filled with hiking, nature, and fun times with friends. When asked if it was all that she expected, Taylor Schaar said “It was better than I expected even though it rained”. Also, Betsy Fender, who went for her first time says “I had a lot of fun and plan on going back next year”. Many students said that everything went as planned. Mrs. Yoder, an advisor that has gone before, says “It was a wild, wet, yet wonderful hike with amazing views! Everyone was tested and came out of it stronger than they realized. It was a great trip overall.” Many students thought of the trip as something to look forward to in high school. Its filled with many traditions like nicknames, bonfires, and a video on the last day. If you love the outdoors, you should certainly think of going on the Appalachian Trail next year!
