			<title><![CDATA[Journalism UIL]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <div class='ArticleAuthor'>By Fernando Zambrano</div><br> On Tuesday March 30 th , 11 Teague High students traveled to Franklin to compete in various journalism events for district UIL. The events in which the students competed in were: Ready Writing, News Writing, Feature Writing, Editorial Writing, and Headline Writing. Overall, the students did well considering that for some of them, this was the first time in ever competing in these events. The students and the events they placed in are as follows: Ready Writing Lori Brown, 3 rd Jake Joplin Natalie Yeaman News Writing Genea Cannon, 6 th Alejo Diaz Dallis Poller Feature Writing Renee Looney, 4 th Natalie Yeaman, 5 th Jordie Watson Editorial Writing Fernando Zambrano, 1 st Matt Flori, 4 th Elizabeth Hartley Headline Writing Genea Cannon, 4 th Alejo Diaz, 6 th Jordie Watson Lori Brown and Fernando Zambrano will advance to Regional UIL Competition. Overall, the whole journalism team placed 3 rd . These students competed well and accumulated some needed points for our school’s UIL squad. The rest of the students will compete in the remaining events on Thursday.  ]]></description>
