My past four years at University High have been an awesome experience. At school I was able to experience a wide variety of things that interested me from Cross Country and Track and Field to Academic Decathlon, DeMolay and Leadership, and much more. I have made a great number of friends I know I am going to remain close with for the rest of my life. I was extremely moved when I saw hundreds of students lined up outside of the community courthouse at what I improperly named Occupy Corinth, ready to fight for and stand up for our school. The teachers here have always been caring and passionate for all of us and many have inspired us and motivated us to continue work hard and persevere at whatever we put our minds to. All of us who were on Cross Country and Track and Field can easily say that Aguda was our mother away from home (unless of course, if you were a slacker). For all of the underclassmen and Juniors reading this continue to work hard through school and triumph over any obstacles you may encounter. University High provides everything you need to have a great education and prepare yourself for whatever you want to do later in life. Thank you to all of our teachers and counselors who have been there for us, whether it be helping us with assignments we didn’t understand during lunch or after school, finding opportunities that may interest us, or just being there to talk to us when we have something on our minds. To all Seniors, we are finally done. As one chapter in our lives closes and another begins, the knowledge we have gained and the experiences we have had here at Uni will be those that help us to succeed in our endeavors and live happy lives. I know that when we look back on the memories we have made here, they will be happy memories for everybody. Wishing You a Safe Journey, Derek Di Nardo
