Early in the year, Mojica entered a scholarship application to the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center, which supports the mediation programs in LAUSD schools. In late April, she was chosen as a winner and was granted $500 for outstanding mediation to use towards college. Mojica plans to start school at Cal State Polytechnic in Pomona this fall.</p></div></div></div>Many high-achieving students have received scholarships and academic awards throughout the year because of their hard work and dedication.
