Scholarship winner and senior Lani Mojica stands tall and proud with Peer Mediation Advisor and math teacher Karen Crowley. Early in the year, Mojica entered a scholarship application to the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center, which supports the mediation programs in LAUSD schools. In late April, she was chosen as a winner and was granted $500 for outstanding mediation to use towards college. Mojica plans to start school at Cal State Polytechnic in Pomona this fall.

Many high-achieving students have received scholarships and academic awards throughout the year because of their hard work and dedication. The latest of this stellar group is senior Lani Mojica.
