Schools attending included the Sioux Falls schools and some surrounding districts. Issues covered at the annual meeting included improving student attitudes, educational projects, chemical awareness and community service projects. All student council members present conversed about issues facing their schools in the upcoming year. Attendees then divided into smaller groups to discuss making their schools better and promoting events throughout their school year. Warrior council members learned new ideas for dress-up days, future homecoming festivities and other events throughout the year. Advisor Sandy Hoff said she felt the meeting was great for the students. “It was very beneficial for the students and they came away with many great ideas,” Hoff said.
