By Eileen Waznik

Brzezinski has been part of E.P’s staff for twenty-four years, and has definitely enjoyed her time here. She loves the staff and the children, but she feels it is her time to retire due to her forty long years of working within education. The staff not only considers Brzezinski one of their coworkers, they also consider her as part of the family. Brzezinski states, “I am definitely going to miss the staff. We are just like family in the Guidance Department!” Although she is sad to say goodbye, she feels she should spend her time doing the things she enjoys such as scrapbooking, traveling, and volunteering. It is very important for Brzezinski that she has time to spend with her friends and family. She has made some pretty amazing friends working at E.P., and she will also miss the students that she sees each and everyday. Brzezinski’s favorite memories are senior award nights and volunteer work done by students. She loved seeing seniors being awarded for their hard work over their four years at East Penn. Brzezinski plans on keeping in touch with her fellow colleagues, and she states they will “keep her on speed dial.” One of Brzezinski’s students, junior Joelle Super will miss Brzezinski after this year. Super has had Brzezinski as her Guidance Counselor for three years, and she cannot imagine having another counselor. “I always go to Mrs. Brzezinski whenever I need help deciding my classes or even changing my schedule!” Super hopes that Brzezinski will come back to school and visit!
