By Josh Lebo

Subway Logo

Newspaper reporters track down information and sometimes that information turns into a story. Sometimes the reporter just finds out that what he heard is true isn't. That was the case with a rumor that Cumberland Valley High School had a Subway restaurant inside their school. I began by trying to find a contact number to determine the locations of all the Subways. Because Subways are franchises owned by different people, finding one source for information was difficult. Finally I reach Brenda Solonoski, the Community Outreach Coordinator for Central Pennsylvania subway Development. She confirmed that no area high schools currently have Subway restaurants in them but a few years ago, a Subway was located in a Perry County school. She also said, that Subways are located at Harrisburg Area Community College and in Berks Technical Institute.I think it would be a great idea to get a Subway into Big Spring High School. While also tasting good Subway food is nutritional. Subway could offer a nutritious breakfast , lunch, and dinner.
