Applications for the 2003-2004 MCLeadership Program that have been open to recipients are due Friday. MCLeadership committee is searching for rising seniors for the program. Students interested in the MCLeadership program were to fill out an application or be nominated by a teacher. Once all of the applications and nominations are completed, the MCLeadership committee consisting of about 20 teacher sponsors and senior MCLeaders look through both of the forms to see what match ups they come across. Around 50 seniors are chosen through the selection process. “It’s a great way for people to get to know each other, and I like it because I am new and I have met a lot of people and seen how the school works,” math teacher Carol Anne Davis said. Students recommended get along well with people throughout the school and show good leadership skills towards their classmates by setting a good example. “MCLeaders tend to not only be nice to their classmates, but underclassmen as well,” senior MCLeader Cory Hillebrand said. ]]> Tue, 22 Apr 2003 04:00:00 GMT
