A relatively unrecognized sport, the Girl’s Golf team has made it to playoffs all ten years it has existed, and this year is no different. Last Monday, the varsity girls finished 5th in the last Sierra Foothill League Tournament, giving them the 3rd place spot in league behind Woodcreek and the undefeated Del Oro. The girls also qualified for the Division II Sections at the Bing Maloney course in Sacramento. These achievements can be partially attributed to players like senior Shelby Bergman, who scored a season best of 95, and Abby Louie, who scored 97 and received the honor of Second Team All-League.
